CON-SPACE Executives Nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Richmond, British Columbia, September 29, 2005 - CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. (TSX - V: CCB), recognized worldwide as the leading designer and manufacturer of specialized voice communication equipment used during 9/11 and the successful Pennsylvania Miners rescue, is pleased to announce that CON-SPACE executives, James L Swanson and Terence A Ibbetson have been selected as two of this year's finalists for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award hosted by Ernst & Young.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific Region award ceremony is held annually (this
year October 3rd) and is a black tie event where 26 other finalists will be in attendance.  The winners of this Regional event will be going to Toronto for the Canada wide ceremony's taking place in November 2005.  
Mr. Terence A Ibbetson, President and Mr. James L Swanson, Chairman are the original founders of CON-SPACE and will be at the ceremony where they have been nominated in the Manufacturing Category.

 

CON-SPACE Chairman, Jim Swanson, stated, ''We are extremely honoured to be selected, once again, as finalists for this prestigious award.  It is considered a tremendous accomplishment to be selected by Ernst & Young as finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards."  Swanson added, "We have had a great year thus far and things are only looking better as there is no slowing down. It was just last week that it was announced by BUSINESS in VANCOUVER that CON-SPACE was the 36th fastest growing company in British Columbia and earlier this week that the Company announced pre-tax profits of $1.6 Million on annual sales of $7.1 Million.
