RICHMOND, BC - Terry Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD., (CDNX: CCB) today announced receipt of a second order from UK Customs and Excise worth in excess of $130,000.

"This order brings their total purchase of CON-SPACE equipment within the past twelve months to almost $400,000," said Ibbetson, "which is a strong indication of the potential sales to Custom and Excise Departments in other countries, especially within the European Union. We have already filled orders from both the Canadian and Australian Custom and Excise Departments as a result of the first UK order."

The CON-SPACE equipment is used to assist "Rummage Teams" in the search for contraband onboard ships. Smugglers typically choose inaccessible locations for their contraband, like the bilge, between the double hulls, behind engine mounts, etc. All of which are classified as confined spaces and normal two-way radios are not adequate. The company also manufactures the systems that are used for rescue from these locations in the event of a problem.

CON-SPACE is recognized worldwide, as the leading manufacturer of special voice communication equipment for people who work in confined spaces or other hazardous jobs. Its equipment is presently used by militaries, government agencies, municipalities, fire departments, police units, rescue teams, and general industry in many countries throughout the world.
