RICHMOND, BC - Mr. Terry Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (CDNX:CCB) announced today that the London Underground Authority has purchased several Communication Systems for their underground maintenance workers.

"Communicating underground has always been a problem, especially in the narrower tunnel sections," said an underground worker, "but CON-SPACE equipment is perfect for this job." Radio signals do not penetrate concrete or go around corners, so they are not very reliable in the tunnels where good communication is essential for the safety and efficiency of workers. The CON-SPACE portable hardwire systems acquired by London Underground are built to solve this problem.

CON-SPACE is recognized worldwide as the leading manufacturer of special voice communication equipment for people who work in Confined Spaces and other hazardous areas. Equipment made by CON-SPACE is presently used in many countries throughout the world by government agencies, municipalities, fire departments, law enforcement, rescue teams and general industry. Their equipment is also used by military organizations worldwide.
