RICHMOND, BC - Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman, of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (CNDX:CCB) announced today the receipt of another award for Best Product at a trade show. This time it was for the Best Electronic Equipment introduced at the International Safety Trade Show, "PISP Fair" held in Brazil.
Carlos Barbouth, Managing Director of Survival Systems of Brazil Ltd., the CON-SPACE distributor for Brazil provides the interpretation:
"It has become a tradition of the Fair to select the best equipment presented, as selected by the attendees, in the following categories: Individual Protection Equipment - EPI; Fire Protection and Fighting Equipment - EPCI; Electronic Equipment - EQUEL; and Special Category. The votes of the visitors are deposited in ballot boxes and tallied by Central de Negócios & Empreendimentos de Marketing S/C Ltda. on the last day of the Fair, the trophies are then awarded to the winners."

The CON-SPACE Communications System, launched during the Fair by Survival Systems do Brasil Ltda., was selected by the visitors to the Fair as the "Best Electronic Equipment". It features a throat-microphone capable of transmitting perfect voice communication even in noisy environments, and even while wearing masks or encapsulated protective clothing. It is Ultra-resistant, portable and waterproof, it can be utilized in confined spaces, or in work at heights; the sound is transmitted through the vibration of the vocal cords as captured by the throat-mic in the hollow of the neck. With special adaptation from CON-SPACE the throat-mic will even work with portable radios.
Gabriel Barbouth, Assistant Instructor at Survival Systems do Brasil, declared that this prize was very important, because apart from saving lives, this equipment also can reduce the stress factor: "It's very difficult for a worker to perform in locations of high-risk and no communication. We can now present solutions for these cases".
