RICHMOND, BC - Mr. Terry Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (CDNX:CCB), announced today that the Company's British office has recently sold its equipment to the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE), located at Aldermaston in the UK, for use in their Waste Management program.

Communication is a key element of any waste management Program but it is especially important at sites that handle Nuclear materials. Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) has been central to defense for the UK providing and maintaining the warheads for the country's Nuclear Deterrent. Safety, of course, is paramount in all operations, especially within potentially hazardous environments.

"Waste Management involves working underground or in tanks and these locations can present significant problems when attempting to communicate with conventional equipment," said Ibbetson. "Radio signals do not penetrate concrete or go around corners, so portable radios are not reliable when used in tunnels and tanks. The CON-SPACE portable hardwire systems acquired by AWE Aldermaston were built to solve this problem."

CON-SPACE is recognized worldwide as the leading manufacturer of special voice communication equipment for people who work in Confined Spaces and other hazardous areas. Equipment made by CON-SPACE is presently used in many countries throughout the world by government agencies, municipalities, fire departments, law enforcement, rescue teams and general industry. Their equipment is also used by military organizations worldwide.

The Company's UK office is located in Sittingbourne, Kent, and its head office in Richmond, BC, Canada. The Company's web-site is located at www.con-space.com.
