RICHMOND, BC - Mr. Terence A. Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (CDNX:CCB), announced today that the Company's UK subsidiary has a contract to supply equipment to a Nuclear Power Plant in Romania, with the initial order exceeding $80,000.

Mr. Graham Withington, General Manager of the UK subsidiary, was delighted with the order and sees it as a major breakthrough into the Eastern European Market, that could result in a series of orders for all products carried by CON-SPACE in Europe. "Our decision to carry a broader range of products in Europe is paying off," said Withington. "This order for ventilation equipment has opened the door for CON-SPACE and, as it has in the UK market, we anticipate it will lead to orders for our communication equipment as well."

Romania is one of the emerging markets in Eastern Europe, so this is an important milestone for the Company as it builds its presence in Europe. "We see the markets in the European Union and the Eastern European Countries providing us with even greater growth during the next five years than we have in North America," said Ibbetson, "Which is why we established our office in the UK three years ago."

In Europe CON-SPACE represents two other Companies with high quality products that are complementary to its own. The decision to offer specialized lifting/lowering equipment and ventilation products came with the decision to open an office in the UK. The three products sell to the same customer, which makes each sales call significantly more productive and more profitable.
