RICHMOND, BC - Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (VSE:CCB) announced today that preliminary sales numbers for the Company's First Quarter of fiscal year 2002, ended September 30th 2001, show an increase in sales of 25.2% over the same quarter a year earlier.

Total sales for the First Quarter were approximately $750,000 compared to sales of $598,925 for the same Quarter a year earlier. A more in-depth report will be released as all numbers for the First Quarter are finalized.

"Sales have continued to grow despite the general economic downturn", said Swanson, "and though many orders were received as a result of the September 11th terrorist attacks on New York and Washington the first Quarter increase was more the result of a general increase in business."
