RICHMOND, BC - Mr. Graham Withington, General Manager of CON-SPACE Communications (UK) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (TSX:CCB) announced today that Her Majesty's Fire Service Inspectorate has awarded CON-SPACE a half million dollar plus contract to supply further equipment for use by Urban Search and Rescue Teams.

This order for $525,000 includes special search cameras from Search Systems Inc, to supplement the twenty-five CON-SPACE Victim Locator Kits provided earlier this year. The total package will provide British Urban Search & Rescue Teams throughout the greater London area with the tools needed to search for victims in structural collapse and other hazardous rescue situations.

CON-SPACE UK offers this combination of products as a total communication solution for rescues from a range of hazardous sites along with other products that complement the equipment it manufactures. This is a unique characteristic of the UK office, which has significantly increased revenues
from the rescue market and permits them to offer complete solutions for customers in both the Industrial and Rescue communities.

This order reflects the increasing demand for rescue equipment that prepares First Responders for the aftermath of terrorist activity. CON-SPACE outlets in other major countries are experiencing a similar action and report that incoming calls and request for quotes have risen considerably during the past three months. Sales to Rescue Teams in the United States and other parts of the world during this time frame have kept the CON-SPACE
manufacturing group extremely busy and additional staff have been hired to cope with the growing backlog.

CON-SPACE has consistently succeeded in producing special voice communication equipment designed to provide safety to workers and assist in
rescue efforts. The Victim Locator Kit was designed after input from rescuers and their efforts after the Oklahoma City Bombing. The equipment
was used extensively to protect Rescuers in the aftermath of the World Trade Center and Pentagon disasters and to make first contact with the trapped miners in Pennsylvania. CON-SPACE recently advanced to Tier 1 status, representing the Toronto Venture Exchange's most advanced Issuers. The Company's reputation has spread worldwide and has resulted in escalating growth and profitability. The company's website is at www.con-space.com.
