Richmond, B. C. -- Mr. Terence A. Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD. (VSE:CCB), announced today the appointment of Hanmi Hi-Tech Co. as distributor for Korea.

As the world's leading supplier of specialized communication equipment for explosive and extremely hazardous Confined Space work environments, CON-SPACE has an objective to have its products used in every corner of the world. This new distributor moves CON-SPACE another step closer to that objective.

Hanmi Hi-Tech Co. is based in Seoul Korea and specializes in equipment for Fire Departments. Hanmi's sales network presently covers all South Korea. During a recent International Trade Show, the people at Hanmi Hi-Tech saw the CON-SPACE equipment and recognised its potential for the Korean market, which they believe is significant.

CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD. develops, manufactures, and distributes unique voice communication equipment for use in dangerous work environments, such as those found in Confined Spaces. According to Government statistics, there are Confined Spaces in over forty industries which include refineries, chemical plants, municipalities, airlines and the military. Currently workers in a vast majority of affected industries as well as fire department rescue personnel and industrial rescue teams are relying on CON-SPACE equipment while in these dangerous work areas.

CON-SPACE is a Canadian company with a wholly owned U. S. subsidiary. Its communication products are currently distributed throughout Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong/China and now Korea. Their objective for world distribution is becoming a reality.
