NEWS RELEASE NO.97-009Richmond, B.C. - Mr. Terry A. Ibbetson, President, of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (VSE: CCB) announced today the addition of Mr. Graham Withington as CON-SPACE's representative in the United Kingdom. As National Sales Manager for the UK Mr. Withington will be responsible for consolidating and expanding CON-SPACE's distribution network within Britain. Establishing a strong market identity for CON-SPACE products in the UK will assist in the further development of the European marketplace.
CON-SPACE has experienced a positive level of success in the UK, which has lead to the necessity of establishing a company presence in England. Mr. Withington brings with him experience in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Product Marketing. He most recently worked as Sales Manager for Handley & Beck, a safety product distributor within Britain. Before Handley & Beck, Mr. Withington was Senior Sales manager for MSA (UK), a manufacturer of breathing and gas detection equipment. "Mr. Withington's strong technical background and safety equipment experience will benefit CON-SPACE as our market expands throughout the United Kingdom," said Ibbetson.
