CON-SPACE ISSUES SHARES FOR DEBT

RICHMOND, BC - Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman, of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., announced today that after receiving regulatory approval the Company has issued shares of the Company to its employees as a settlement for services rendered. 92,000 shares were issued to settle the $23,000 debt. The shares issued February 16, 2001 have a hold period ending July 1, 2001.

CON-SPACE, with its head office and manufacturing plant in Richmond, BC, is recognized worldwide as the leading manufacturer of special voice communication equipment for people who work in confined spaces or other hazardous jobs.
