RICHMOND, BC - Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman, of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. (CDNX:CCB) today announced the retirement of Mr. Pat Thomas from the Board of Directors.

"Pat recently celebrated his 83rd birthday and decided it was time to slow down a little. We are truly sorry to see him go," said Swanson, "as he has been with us from the very beginning. Pat is the last of our founding Directors. He always made sure we kept the shareholder's interest in mind and we will continue to maintain this while he enjoys a well earned rest."

Thomas was president of West Coast Securities and joined the CON-SPACE Board in 1991 while the Company was developing its first product, which was a year prior to it becoming a public company. The board will add a replacement for Mr. Thomas in due course.

CON-SPACE Communications Ltd. designs and manufactures special voice communication equipment for use by workers, inspectors, and rescue personnel the world over. Their products are currently used by many military groups, police departments, fire and rescue teams, domestic preparedness teams, water/waste water authorities, municipalities and companies within general industry.
