CON-SPACE WINS ANOTHER AWARD

Richmond, B. C. --CON-SPACE has won another award for product innovation; this time in England," announced Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD. (CCB Vancouver). "We have received numerous awards but this is the first off-shore award for our equipment."

The award was sponsored by The Safety & Health at Work Exhibition and The Safety & Health Practitioner in conjunction with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health of England. It was awarded at their annual banquet held on February 27, 1996.

CON-SPACE received the award through their Country Distributor for England, Handley & Beck Ltd. "It was our CSI-2000 Confined Space Intercom and Alarm System that received The Safety & Health Product Innovation Award for General Safety for 1996," said Swanson.

CON-SPACE designs, manufactures and market specialized communication and alarm equipment used by those who must work in dangerous areas or hazardous environments. The CON-SPACE products are used by general industry, municipalities, rescue teams and the military. Their products are sold throughout Canada, the United States, Great Britain, New Zealand and Australia. "We are unique in the design and application of our equipment," said Swanson, concluding "Our equipment is The Equipment of Choice for communication in Confined Spaces."

CON-SPACE recently won an "Award of Merit" for its new CSI-1000 Intercom Communication System at the "Energy Week '96" trade conference in Houston, Texas. Previously the CSI-2000 System was the New Product Showcase winner at the National Plant, Engineering and Maintenance Show in Chicago.
