NEWS RELEASE NO. 96-009Richmond, B. C. -- Mr. Terence A. Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD. (CCB.V) announced today the receipt of an order from Air New Zealand for equipment specifically for fuel tank maintenance work.
"Air New Zealand joins a long list of commercial airlines who are now using our equipment in their fuel tank work," said Ibbetson. "Like other airlines, Air New Zealand found that using CON-SPACE equipment significantly improves the safety and efficiency of their fuel tank crews."
CON-SPACE, who specializes in manufacturing unique communication equipment for difficult and dangerous work functions, has supplied the same equipment to the U.S.A.F. and Canadian Airforces, to major aircraft manufacturers like Boeing and Lockheed and to many world airlines such as; Canadian, Air Canada, United, Delta, Northwest, and China Air. This equipment is used for several functions but mainly to monitor and assist entrants who go into the wing fuel tanks to service and maintain them.
