NEWS RELEASE NO. 96-016

Richmond, B. C. -- Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD. (VSE:CCB), announced today that CON-SPACE Rescue communication equipment is on duty at the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta!

CON-SPACE Rescue communication systems have been installed on a first line emergency incident responder with Dekalb County Fire Department. This is the department that will respond to any emergency at or around the Olympic Summer Games.

"CON-SPACE Rescue communication equipment was chosen because of its reliability, flexibility and high Intrinsic Safe Approval rating," said Swanson, "it can be used in any environment, even while wearing breathing apparatus."

A correctly selected and implemented communication system can save a considerable amount of time during a Rescue operation. Instantaneous communication between rescue personnel has a calming effect on rescuers and reduces the likelihood of accidents caused by misunderstandings, confusion and panic.

CON-SPACE specializes in the manufacture of Communication systems that are widely used across North America by Cities, Municipalities, the U.S. Military, Fire Departments, FEMA and Rescue organizations for Confined Space entries and rescue activities in Confined Spaces, structural collapse and hazardous area situations.
