RICHMOND-Mr. Terence A. Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD., (VSE: CCB) announced today that an agreement has been signed with SCOTT AVIATION, a leading manufacturer of Respiratory Protection Products in North America. CON-SPACE has contracted to manufacture a communication accessory that links products from both companies together, integrating respiratory protection and confined space communication.
"We have been working with SCOTT for over a year designing and developing the SCOTT Con-SpaceLink," said Ibbetson. "This device will be manufactured exclusively for SCOTT. It is designed to attach directly the AV-2000, SCOTT's premium Facepiece, and as the name indicates, links to any of the CON-SPACE Confined Space Communication Systems." SCOTT AVIATION, based in Monroe, North Carolina, is the largest single manufacturer of self contained breathing equipment in North America with loyal users in all key market sectors including fire, Industry, Municipal, the Military, and Petrochemical.
As a direct result of the agreement, each SCOTT distributor will have access to CON-SPACE communication systems, directly from CON-SPACE. This influx of distributors will increase coverage in North America by approximately 40%, resulting in significant growth of CON-SPACE annual sales.
