RICHMOND-Hot on the heels of a new sales record for the second quarter, CON-SPACE has surpassed that number in its third quarter and set another new record. This dynamic company continues to develop and introduce unique new products into the new "Confined Space Industry" and has rapidly become the world leader in specialized voice communication equipment for this industry. The growing demand for its products now comes from all corners of the world.
Earlier today Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD., (VSE: CCB) released the sales figure for the third quarter ended March 31, 1998. "We are very pleased to announce that our quarterly sales have again set a new record and closed at approximately $530,000.00," said Swanson.
CON-SPACE, with its head office in Richmond, BC, Canada and subsidiaries in the United States and England, started business in 1992 and has since become a supplier and advisor to many fortune 500 companies, industry in general, numerous municipalities, fire departments and all branches of the military. "Our ongoing research and development program is designed to allow us to remain world leaders in this exciting new industry," said Terence A. Ibbetson, company President.
Through its subsidiaries, CON-SPACE has developed strong distribution networks in North America and throughout many other parts of the world. As the demand grows for CON-SPACE products so does its network, and the CON-SPACE web site (http://www.con-space.com) is playing an increasingly greater role in this process.
Swanson indicated that the company's actual earning figures for the third quarter would be released near the end of April. He concluded his announcement by stating that the company was on target for its total year plan.
