RICHMOND, BC - Mr. Terence A. Ibbetson, President of CON-SPACE Communications Ltd., (TSX:CCB) announced today that the US Marines have tested the Company's new product, the 'Vital Sound' Headset and reports that it is performing well.
CON-SPACE, a developer and manufacturer of special communication equipment for the safety industry, recently introduced the 'Vital Sound'. This unique headset shields a stethoscope from noise, allowing emergency medical personnel (Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Military Medics) to better hear faint lung and heart sounds in noisy environments at accident scenes, in emergency rooms, on battlefields, in transport aircraft, helicopters and other emergency vehicles.
"We are very excited about this new
product," said Ibbetson, "all market surveys have indicated
a great need for such an item. It is conceivable that every Hospital,
Ambulance, Paramedic, Rescue Squad, and Military Medical unit
could have a 'Vital Sound Headset' at their disposal".
The results of the US Marine testing confirmed that the "'Vital
Sound Headset' worked well for its intended use"; which is
to improve the hearing ability of someone monitoring a patient's
vital sounds while in high noise environments.
CON-SPACE sees the military as a major potential
user of the 'Vital Sound'.
