CON-SPACE FLIES QANTAS

NEWS RELEASE NO. 96-025

Richmond, B. C. -- Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman of CON-SPACE COMMUNICATIONS LTD. (VSE:CCB), announced today that the Company has added Qantas to its long list of world airlines that have standardized on CON-SPACE equipment for their fuel cell maintenance program.

"Qantas has been evaluating our equipment for several months and have finally shown their satisfaction by placing an order for several CON-SPACE systems to be used during all fuel cell inspection and maintenance work," said Swanson, adding, "Like many other world airlines currently using our communication systems they have recognized the benefits of increased safety and productivity that this equipment provides."

When work must be done inside wing and belly fuel cells of commercial jet aircraft it is necessary that workers who enter these spaces be monitored continuously to ensure their well being. A safety attendant located outside the space does this using communication equipment manufactured by CON-SPACE. An important benefit of having communication for this type of work is the increased efficiency experienced by its users.

Not only are major world airlines using CON-SPACE equipment for fuel cell maintenance, but also aircraft manufacturers like Boeing and Lockheed, as well as the U S Airforce, the Canadian Airforce and the New Zealand Airforce.

CON-SPACE is the world leader in the development and production of this unique communication equipment and they are, as Swanson concluded, "...very pleased to have Qantas as a part of our family of satisfied customers".
