June 20, 1997
NEWS RELEASE NO.97-012

RICHMOND, BC - Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman of Con-Space Communications Ltd., (VSE: CCB) announced today that due to continued growth the company is relocating to larger premises to house manufacturing and Head Office activities.

CON-SPACE has out-grown it's current facility", said Swanson. "We have been in these premises prior to starting CON-SPACE and now our growth dictates this move. We have absolutely no room here."

The company currently occupies 2,400 square feet and is moving July 15th to a newer building a few blocks away with over 6,000 square feet. This move has been made necessary due to the company's continued 30 percent annual growth rate. CON-SPACE products are used throughout North America and Internationally. The company announced last week the incorporation of a subsidiary in England, CON-SPACE Communications (UK) Ltd., in Kent. CON-SPACE has another wholly owned subsidiary in the Blaine, Washington.

The CON-SPACE line of specialized voice communication equipment is now used throughout the world by municpalites, fire departments, rescue teams and the military. The company's products are now considered the industry standard for workers operating in high noise, dangerous or confined space environments. CON-SPACE is a dynamic company designing, manufacturing and marketing its product line worldwide.

When asked how long it would be before the company required even larger premises Mr. Swanson said,"At our current growth rate we could be moving much sooner than the expiry of our five year lease, but that's the kind of problem I like to have."
