CON-SPACE CONTINUES UPWARD GROWTH

July 23, 1997
NEWS RELEASE NO.97-013

RICHMOND, BC - "Con-Space sales continued their upward growth for yet another year," announced, Mr. James L. Swanson, Chairman of Con-Space Communications Ltd., when referring to the company's fiscal year just ended June 30, 1997.

"We have achieved an increase of 25% in sales growth over the 1996 fiscal year with the 1997 financial year closing at sales of $1,508,000," said Swanson. This compares with sales of $1,210,000 a year ago. Con-Space, a young dynamic company, is making substantial inroads within the US and Canadian safety markets with its revolutionary new products that provide safe and efficient communication for individuals involved in working around and in confined spaces, hazardous environments and explosive atmospheres. The company has produced increasing operational profits in each of the last five quarters and now with its expansion into various international markets expects these profits to escalate.

"Our new office in Kent, England, is now open and the activity is very encouraging. We have already received more orders than expected with many more in the works," said Swanson. As a result of the company's continuing growth, the head office and manufacturing facility, in Richmond, British Columbia, has just moved into larger premises and soon will be increasing its production personnel.

Mr. Swanson concluded his announcement by indication that it would be just over a month yet before all year-end financial numbers would be ready for release. It is quite obvious that Mr. Swanson is encouraged with not only the growth of sales but also the future prospects of Con-Space.
