The electret microphone (E-Mic) and quick-disconnect speaker assembly were designed exclusively for Avon Facemasks to compensate for the poor acoustic environment found inside rubber masks.
The E-Mic provides a clear, intelligible voice signal for professional communications applications. It also compensates for signal degradation by digital radios/cellular hybrids.
The E-Mic plugs into the mask’s built-in pass-through connector and mates with our low profile A5 connector located on the exterior of the mask. Once connected to the mask, the down lead with CON-SPACE’s Q.D. interfaces with any Talon Throat push-to-talk Throat Mic, SRVA, SR65M or CSVA.
