Con-Space News

Well let me tell you, there’s a lot going on . . . and it’s not just the stuff that the outside people see . . .
We’re working feverishly on bringing the SearchCam 3000 into production. While FDIC was our “official” launch, we still have some bugs to iron out and to finish programming the screen menu. We’re taking orders for the new camera and early feedback is very positive.  The new SearchCam 3000 will start shipping in September.
Another product we’ve been working on is the new EntryLink Diversity.  While we’re still using the same camera (EL350), the new Diversity System comes with up to three antennas.  Deploying the three antennas will result in improved video reception.
For those folks wondering about the Cable Cart Hardline System (it takes the camera from a wireless system to a Hardline system able to transmit in any type of structure) we’re hoping to have something ready by the end of 2009. I will keep you posted.
I wish I could say the last six months have been smooth sailing, but with the economy grinding to a halt, we’ve seen our sales for both CON-SPACE Hardline and Search Systems slow down dramatically.  Some of our products (EntryLink Diversity) were late shipping because we were dealing with all things corporate.   The goods news is things have turned around for us and we’re in much better shape financially than we were three months ago.  I want to thank everyone for your patience.
I also want to thank everyone who stopped by the booth at FDIC, with a special thank you to those who bought me a beer. My expense report (bar bill) was considerably lower this year than in previous years.  Fortunately, consumption stayed the same!
