Con-Space News

Has it been a month already?

We have been so busy it seemed to go by faster than the Canadian Ski team. The last 30 days at CON-SPACE have been a roller coaster ride…from the sorrow of the events in Haiti to the exhilaration of the torch relay and opening ceremonies here in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics. In addition, we moved our head office to brand new facilities, finalized our European service center, hired a new Regional Sales Manager, Quality Manager, inside sales support person, and shipped a huge amount of rescue gear to all parts of the globe. We have re-tooled our manufacturing facilities in Bakersfield and Vancouver and to improve lead times on all our products, including the Searchcam 3000. Not unlike the athletes in our town at the moment we have had to prepare ourselves to take on the world. We are ready!

P.S. Go Canada !

With great sadness I have been following the events in Haiti. Dark times like these tend to put a spotlight on the efforts of our brothers and sisters in the rescue community.  I would personally like to thank all the brave men and women who are currently working hard to help the people of Haiti.

It is unfortunate that the only time we get to really see the end result of our collective efforts is in the wake of a tragedy such as this. However for the people of this organization there is feeling of great satisfaction in seeing the products we work on every day help to save lives.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone here at CON-SPACE go out to all those individuals and family’s injured or lost during this horrific event.
